Petsie Pet Sitting's founder Julie Martin(And founder of Pawkee.com) lives in downtown Toronto and has taken care of pets all her live. Julie volunteers for Toronto Cat Rescue, regularly fostering cats and attending adoptathons.
"I’ve always loved animals and I’ve always had pets. I was 21 when I adopted my first dog Benji, a miniature schnauzer. I’m an entrepreneur and during my twenties I travelled around a lot with work. Benji kept me company during my travels around the US and never left my side, he was smart, well trained, and great company; he even travelled with me to Mexico and then eventually to Canada.
Some people describe themselves as either a dog person or a cat person. I’m definitely both. I currently foster cats, saving them from shelters and helping them be adopted into loving homes. With my entrepreneurial skills and love of animals, PETSIE Pet Sitting after starting Pawkee.com was an obvious choice to continue.
